Bağıvar Bridge is on the Tigris River between Bağıvar and Old Mardin Road. It was built to protect the Ten Arches Bridge, one of the most important historical structures of Diyarbakır. The bridge was designed and constructed as 206.20m long with a superstructure width of 13.25m. There are 3 lanes on the bridge and its width is 11m. The bridge has 6 arches. Length of the beams is 33.50m and the support opening is 32.70m. There are 12 prestressed pretensioned precast split order I beams of 130 cm height in each opening. Pier height of the bridge is approximately 15 m.
