Training Was Given to Konya Metropolitan Municipality
Within the scope of Konya transportation master plan, between 23-26 December 2013, training was given to the members of the Control Organization of Konya Metropolitan Municipality, Transportation Planning and Rail System Department, which belongs to the Transportation traffic signaling Branch Directorate.
The subjects of training which was given by Yücel Erdem Dişli, the head of Planning and Traffic Department of Boğaziçi Proje, and Alev Şenol, Melike Sarım Boynuyoğun, Ahmet Koçaslan, İsa Açıkgöz and Savaş Atar from project team are Konya Transport Model Implementations and the use of VISSUM.
The most interesting topics of the training are as follows:
- Methodologies of Field Studies
- Collected data analysis
- Konya Model in VISUM
- The creation of alternative scenarios in VISUM
- Intersection counts methodology and data analysis
The trainees remarked that the training of Transport Model Implementation and VISUM was very effective, efficient and helpful to understand whole working process.
